Taylored Expression | O Christmas Tree Kit

Hello my crafty Friends! Today I am sharing the "O Christmas Tree Kit" from Taylored Expressions. I feel in love with this Christmas tree. The kit includes the stamp set, stencils, die cuts for the tree and presents. It also includes the sentiments and The Insiders. The Insiders are pre cut sentiments on white cardstock to insert into your cards.

I love the insiders, you don't have to write a message inside your Christmas Card, you just sign it.

Let's Make a Card:

Card Base:

• Red Cardstock, 11 x 4-1/4, scored at 5-1/2

Background:

• A piece of patterned paper of your choice, I used last years Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up. Paper measurements: 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

Arch:

• Die cut an arch from Stampin Up on white cardstock:

Focal Point:

• Stamp tree truck with Mocha Ink from Taylored Expressions.

• Use stencils to color in the rest of the tree. I used Peapod and Cilantro Ink from T.E.

• Die cut present on red cardstsock. Die cut bows on gold cardstock. I added polka dots with a white gel pen to one of the presents.

Assembly:

• Adhere patterned paper to card base.

• Adhere arch flat, next adhere tree with foam adhesive.

• Adhere bows on gifts and adhere to card base with foam adhesive.

• Stamp and adhere sentiment to tree.

• I added gold dots with Contour Gold (Simon Says)
